Since admission to the New York State Bar in 1998, Jeanna M. Alberga has practiced almost exclusively in the areas of matrimonial and family law.  Throughout the course of her practice, Ms. Alberga has prepared thousands of documents related to Matrimonial actions and Family Court proceedings.  Ms. Alberga is experienced in drafting pleadings, motion papers, orders, judgments, memoranda of law, appellate briefs, statements of net worth, discovery notices and responses to discovery notices, and has engaged in the practice of adoptions since 1998.  She has made numerous appearances in the Supreme and Family Courts, in Westchester, Putnam, Dutchess, Orange, Rockland, New York and Bronx Counties, and has argued before the Appellate Division, Second Department.  

Ms. Alberga is a member of the New York State Bar Association, including the Family Law Section and the Westchester County Bar Association where she is the chair of the Appellate Practice Committee and a member of All Family law section.  She participates as a speaker at BOCES’ annual Career Day event, was an adjunct professor at St. Thomas Aquinas College in Sparkhill, New York, and is a former member of the Advisory Board of the Juvenile Law Awareness Westchester.  In addition to the foregoing, Ms. Alberga is the former chair of the St. Mary Gate of Heaven Alumni Association in Ozone Park, New York.
